#061 – Raasay and Skye from Lonbain

A fine view of Skye behind Raasay in the afternoon haze painted en plein air at Lonbain just past Applecross whilst on a painting break with the artist Ray Balkwill. This was mostly a challenge to find a composition and to create the colours particularly that of the pink sand and shingle.
